VeggieBenz has successfully converted 100+ diesel engines!

VeggieBenz is investigating hydro-powered cars.  The future hydro-conversion will be self-contained (no alternative fueling required), it simply uses the hydrogen particles to help your vehicle get 20-30% better fuel economy.

Biodiesel is regular Diesel with vegetable oil (usually soybean oil) added in. It is that simple.
Biodiesel is considered a revolutionary fuel for a few good reasons:
Regular Diesel fuel is petroleum based; petroleum comes from crude oil, which is a fossil fuel. This is a non-renewable and it will run out at some point in the future. Thus, the interest in alternative fuels such as BioDiesel and Vegetable Oil.
Biodiesel is a renewable resource since it is grown. Also, Biodiesel can be, and is made in the USA, which will decrease our dependency on foreign oil, which in turn makes the US economy stronger.
Emissions. Biodiesel has fewer harmful pollutants than Petroleum Diesel, in fact it has less (speciated) hydrocarbon emission than regular Diesel- nearly 50% less and even more compared to gasoline cars. It is the hydrocarbon emission that contributes to the destruction of our ozone layer. Sulfur oxides and sulfate, more commonly known as acid rain, are eliminated with Biodiesel, as compared to regular Diesel. Carbon monoxide emissions are also half of what regular Diesel produces.
There are various kinds of Biodiesel, all of which use regular Diesel (Petroleum Diesel) with different percentages of vegetable oil added in, such as: B100, B99 and B20
These ratings refer to the amount in percentages of Biodiesel added to regular diesel or Petroleum diesel. For example:
Fuel containing 20% Biodiesel is called B20
Fuel containg 99% Biodiesel is called B99
Fuel containing only Biodiesel is called B100
B99 is the most common fuel available since Petroleum Diesel retards mold.  Also, because biodiesel is vegetable oil, and vegetable oil may begin to germinate (grow), a small amount of Petroleum Diesel is added.
Our conversions can and will run on any of four types of fuel in any amount either mixed together or individually:
Regular Diesel, also known as Diesel #2, which is Petroleum Diesel. This is found in many gas stations and truck stops
BioDiesel: This is the blend of Vegetable oil with Petroleum Diesel usually with a "B" before the number like B99 or B20
Straight Vegetable Oil or SVO- This is unused/ new oil such as soybean or canola.  This product usually comes straight from the grocery store.   Many customers buy in large quantities at places like Costco and Smart&Final.
Waste Vegetable Oil or WVO- This is reclaimed vegetable oil that has been used or cooked. This oil needs to be filtered before using it.  Check our partners' out for purchasing filtering materials.
